\\fileserver\misc\install files\philips\Philips Bluetooth FTP Service for MS BT Driver\InstallInstructions.txt

The Microsoft Bluetooth Stack provided with Windows 7 does NOT support Bluetooth FTP which is required for use with the Philips MRx monitor. Philips created this utility (Philips.HeartStart.BthFtpServer.exe) which allows a PC with MS Bluetooth driver to work with the MRx. Simply copy this exe and the accompanying Philips.HeartStart.BthFtpServer.exe.config file to the PC you want to run it on in C:\Program Files (x86)\Philips folder. Then edit the config and look for :

            <setting name="FtpRootFolder" serializeAs="String">
                <value>C:\Bluetooth</value>
            </setting>

Change the value to where you want the files to be put. When you pair the MRx monitor and send a 12-Lead, it will create a subfolder called philipsMRx and then a subfolder in there called 12-leads. That is the path that Rosetta-DS needs to point to (ie, C:\Bluetooth\philipsMRx\12-leads) so it can get the 12-Leads. You also need to create a shortcut to the exe and put it in the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder so it runs at startup.
